During 6th period, we will need to move percussion equipment, chairs, and stands over to the field so that they will be ready for us at call time. We will also need to fill our two coolers full of ice at the Culinary building, and leave them on that side of campus so that they are ready to be filled with bottled water by 5:30pm.
The Band room will be open by 5:30pm to allow you to make your way to the stadium in a timely manner. Pre-approved Booster volunteers will arrive by 5:30pm to begin stocking the coolers, and have them ready for the students by 6:15pm in the stadium.
Students should arrive dressed in concert attire (all black and white, no ties, sunglasses are acceptable). YOU MUST HAVE YOUR MUSIC IN A 3 RING BINDER WITH SHEET PROTECTORS. NO EXCEPTIONS. There will be NO music flying away in the wind during the ceremony!
If you are delivering an instrument to the field for a senior to play on for the alma mater, please do not forget!
The band room will be locked at 6:00pm, you must be in the stadium before 6:15pm. The gate sot the stadium will be locked at that time, no one will be allowed in or out. DO NOT BE LATE FOR ANY REASON!!! (you know who you are…)
At the conclusion of the ceremony, we will need to take a couple trips back and forth to return instruments, chairs, and stands to the band room. You are not dismissed until this is completed (you know who you are…). Plan on staying until approximately 9:00/9:15pm
All of the Seniors' instruments will be returned to the band room by whomever brought it to the stadium.
